What to do when the passport or eID card expires?
Make pre-appointment in a timely manner using:

- or use the "Appointment" section - click "Apply for a service" and send an e-mail to the desired territorial division: https://bit.ly/3wNYowB;
- or contact the division by phone: https://bit.ly/3wNYowB.
Remember that the passport or eID card must be handed over to the OCMA after the expiration date, but if you live abroad - to the Latvian diplomatic or consular mission, if there is one in the respective country.
